@lucymo I hope this is true for you, but I had something on order, in process, then it went to back order after over a week, so I called and was assured by customer service that I would receive my order, and within a few days, it was cancelled. That ticked me off, being told something was definite, when in fact, it was not.
@mousiegirl @lucymo Just a few weeks ago I had ordered something online from QVC--- it showed it was available and my order went through and showed "in process", then I got a phone call from Q's CS informing me the item I ordered was not available and asked if I was interested in Wait List---this wasn't even an "as is" item.... I just don't understand how their order system can be so erratic and not able to determine whether they have enough stock to cover the orders or not!!! Never had anything like that happen with any other company I order online from!!!

I'm inclined to believe the Mod Melvin's answer more than CS because if I was going to receive an item in 7-10 days it would have to be shipping and it's still in B/O status. It's crazy how they don't know how many of an item they have but just keep taking orders for it. I guess I'm crazy too for ordering. LOL

@lucymo It's just like no one knows what they are doing either the manufacturer nor QVC or they underestimate the customer response and want to be careful they are not left with overstock in a warehouse.... What gets me are the situations like @mousiegirl experienced and the incorrect info like you got from CS telling you it's on wait list and will be shipped out soon, and then they wind up CANCELING the order ENTIRELY!!!---that's frustrating!!!
I wonder if it's because of perhaps too many ways to place your order---phone, automated ordering, online, apps---maybe LESS IS MORE and MORE efficient too

It's funny that you said this, because I feel the same. The garland in particular is such a basic addition around the bottom of the piece, but it isn't basic at all. It's full of details all on its own.
I think you'd love the snowman and cat, called Friendship Keeps Us Warm, even though it doesn't have quite as many small details as the other.

@mousiegirl that's just a standard reply. I've never received anything from back order. I believe the Mod Melvin's answer over in Customer Care much more than this from CS. Here it is:
@lucymo I'm sorry that happened. An "as is" item/order may go into back order if we discover we do not have the correct inventory on hand when we attempt to pull the item for shipment. "As is" items are limited stock items, however, we do attempt to get additional stock from vendors. We make every attempt to filfill the order within 2-3 weeks and will notify you of any changes in your order.

@lucymo Yes, thank you. My order was not "as is," and customer service should never have told me that I absolutely would receive my order. Fingers crossed that you do receive the deer.

Until an item's tracking actually says In Transit, I'm always worried.
@SHOPR You ordered a couple of hours before I did so we will see where this goes. I know what you mean about not being sure until it is in transit. If yours came back 'in process' you're probably going to get them. I really hope so for you.

@Spurt @lucymo At this very moment, my item still shows on the page in the color I ordered, both colors were available when I ordered, but after my order was cancelled, the red and white remained, but the green and red picture remains and I wonder why it hasn't been removed after a year.H206559

Just for the record, I've gone throw crazy this CIJ. I bought two sets of the TSV Berkshires (most for gifts) and the LOGO ones (three of them) that were on lunchtime special yesterday for $11 each (with the intent that two of the three are gifts as well). So me and moderation just aren't gettin' it together right now. At least it isn't Christmas decor this year!
@Mominohio, I also bought one of the LOGO $11 throws, in teal, for myself. I guess the fact that I only ordered one means I'm practicing moderation, right?
@SHOPR Only one throw? Yes, that is moderation. I have a feeling that word is going to come back and haunt us.
