Re: RECENT LUMINARA TSV

[ Edited ]

I got a set each of blue and yellow. They will work well into my Easter decor and also go well with my Polish Stoneware displays. I actually wanted all the pastels but I already have some icy blue ones and some peach and green egg shapes from Martha Stewart's collections.

I got a set in white.  I have these candles in most of the rooms in my home now, and the white is very versatile.

@mousiegirl - I bought the icy blue and the coral cloud. I was tempted by the smoke green, but I already have a pastel green from a while back. Carolyn and Janine both said the icy blue was like a sea glass color. I thought mixing them with eggs and bunnies would be pretty, then I could mix them with seashells for the summer. I was tempted by the purple and canary. Your arrangement will be lovely!  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom   I passed on the lighter greens and the coral as I already have candles in those colors, not all luminara, but they are pretty, from years ago bought on Q.

Last Summer, I had many faux flower arrangements in the kitchen in various hues of purple and lavender, and they actually were stunning, though wasn't sure as I was creating them that I would like the color theme, but with white flowers mixed in, which brought some brightness, it worked, thank goodness, as I knew I would be looking at them for three months, until Fall arrived.

Yes, you are right, the icy blue will look wonderful for Easter as well as for beach scenes.  Last year, all of the Easter arrangements were various hues of pink and coral, my best ever arrangements as it turned out.  I am not sure this year.  Usually, every other year is Easter decor, and the other years are Sporing green and white, again stunning, but I havn't done this for years now, and think I really will miss the Easter since I loved last year, all white bunnies galore also, have a bunny addiction. I also just realized that I bought some pink and coral Crochet Lace, had already forgotten, and they will be for Easter.  I hope we love the candles and they work perfectly.  I had quite a few returns, candles and other items, that didn't work and were otherwise defective.

The Canary can be used in Easter, Spring, Summer, or Fall.

@mousiegirl  Looking forward to photos of your beautiful vignettes and how you incorporate these amazing lumniara candles.

I purchased a number of sets also.  I really liked the variety of colors.  I display them on a mantle or on the cocktail table in our family room.  I love that they go anywhere.  I have put them in my curio cabinets and the impact from the light on the crystal is breathtaking.  You could never do that with 'real' candles.

I really enjoy Janine Graff.  I love her little videos that she puts together ... showing us several different vignettes and how she incorporates luminara into her home.

Your spring displays are going to be absolutely lovely!

I was conflicted and considered several colors. What ultimately stopped me is that I really don't do pastels. I'd find them of very limited use in my decor, and the more traditional colors they had, I have tons of or didn't care for.

I have so many flameless candles they are rotated for seasons and holiday decor already. I've even started to move on some of the older ones that never make it back in to the rotation mix anymore.

I need another candle like I need another hole in my head.I managed to stand strong this time.

I bought the coral since it will go nicely with my spring/summer decor.....

@Spurt   Yes, I almost did but knew that I had some, not Luminara, that color from years ago so didn't.  I actually use coral and pinks in my Easter arrangements.

I just received the candles, and I see not even a hint of blue in the Icy Blue, nothing like the picture, more like a light sage green, so I may return these.  The Beryl green is nothing like the picture either, but I saw the presentation so tried to cancel but wasn't allowed, however, these will look fine in the beach scene, though not nearly as good as if they looked like the site picture.  Now, I have to test all of them, including two sets of Wisteria, which is a nice lavender color.

How disappointing about the colors.
