I was browsing through the items for David's show later today and notice - H211544.  Do you think I could use that item through the winter?

I am looking for something to put on my kitchen windowsill to light up - had a wonderful pair of VPH candle snowmen (the pinecone ones from a few years ago).  Loved them - but sadly they both melted in the occassional winter sun - they still look cute just a little lopsided.

Do you think the penguin (H211544) would be ok to display all winter long since it isn't totally Christmasy (not sure that's word).

That's very cute but that price has got to be wrong?! almost $85.00?!

I got Valeries 5 little snowbirds with

"faith", "hope", "love" and 2 other words and left them out they are so cute! Unfortunately I don't see them online anymore. Maybe she will bring them back at some point.

You could try h207504- "as is" illuminated snowman with vintage holiday scene for less than $20

h205351 is the new version for $26

Isn't H211544 too big for the kitchen windowsill?  It's 11" wide.

Thanks everyone for your advice.  I have what they call a "garden" style window so the sill is actually about 20" or so deep and about 36 inches wide.  Good for displays but bad to reach for cleaning.   The price is rather steep to me.  Maybe I should go "shopping" in my storage room to see what I can find first.  I am sure DH would agree with that.  Thanks again!

My input would be that either one is great for all winter, not just Christmas.

They are huge, but you seem to have the space to hold them with that big window.

I think they are way overpriced for what they are.

And consider first the 'look' you are trying to achieve. I find these too whimsical/childish for my stage of life. This is something more I would have chosen when my son was little, or maybe once I have grandchildren.

For the size and the cost, I'd just recommend being sure they are the style and statement you wish to make in that area, as they are definitely big enough to be a statement piece.

I would display it all winter. It is not really Christmas, but it is winter.
