i bet that this is when the extended holiday return policy kicks in also.

@sunshine45  I actually think the extended return started in CIJ.

@Kitty Galore

yes, but only for items that were featured in those shows.

the general date for everything is usually sometime in september.

last year it began on 9/22/23.

I am surprised there are no Mackenzie-Childs shows for that weekend. Maybe they are waiting for October.

Re: Program Guide Sept 21 and 22 - Christmas

Thanks @Estellee. I wonder if it will be fall or Christmas. Maybe fall since there is a new Halloween show at 7pm.

I am trying to remember when the Christmas shows started when they were on ShopHQ. I am thinking they started in October.

@Sakuya I agree it could be fall show. I also noticed a few shows scheduled on September 26 from 11a-12n and 5p-6p. Maybe also fall shows too!

Consumer spending has dramtically cooled off and retailers are scrambling with sales, promotions - even Amazon is putting up another Prime Day this October...  I'm not surprised QVC is pushing another all Christmas weekend.  I monitor the Christmas items to catch price reductions, low inventory or "As Is" items I may be interested in and I'm not seeing much change in inventory.

@SEGardener I don't think the all-Christmas weekend has anything to do with consumer spending. This is about the time QVC starts their "full Christmas return policy" on all items until January 31, 2025. These shows and especially TSV's are planned well in advance. Stating this month we'll start seeing all-Christmas weekends every month until Christmas.

BTW - a couple weeks ago someone posted a comment that QVC ignores their long time customers - offering coupons, discounts, promos to new customers 1st, 2nd purchases and some to their QVC card hold.  I replied to that post stating long time customer spending lots on decor and Christmas.  After the post I received an email from QVC with a 20% coupon...Problem is I've tried it on several purchases and NONE of them qualified for the discount.  I deleted the email. Then they sent me a survey quetionnaire and I deleted that as well.  In this economy QVC would be well positioned to cater to their solid customers who buy their fair share and don't stiff them on EZ-payments.  Don't hold your breath.

i am a long standing regular customer and QCARD holder and i just received three coupon code flyers in the mail for QVC.

The operative concept here is QCard holders and new customers get the coupon codes.  Reread our posts.  Those of us who choose to not use store cards with outrageous interest charges are left in the dust...

At Home Goods today people had Christmas items in their cart. Makes me look forward to see what Q will have. One more week until Q's Christmas weekend!

@Sakuya   I'm thinking the same thing .  It isn't listed to be on .   I thought I heard on the last show that Mrs. Proctor  , sorry can't remember her first name ,  say she would be on in September .  I was looking forward to the Christmas items .
