I just searched the QVC2 online program guide for the word Christmas and got a list of shows for the month of July.  Here is the link. Just type in Christmas in the Show Search box to the right.  I tried to paste the list here but it wasn't formatted correctly.

Looks like at least 2 new CIJ shows in July on QVC2, including one featuring David Venable, David's Great Big Christmas.

@SHOPR  It seems we will be very busy next weekend going from here to Q2 and back, lol.  I am looking forward to David's show, hoping it will be vintage like the show he had a few years ago, and not the current items.

@mousiegirl, I know that a show with David featuring vintage-style items would be a hit with many people, but this show is supposed to be about oversized stuff and outdoor inflatables:

"There's no bigger fan of Christmas than our own Program Host David Venable. And if there's one thing David loves about Christmas, it's great, big, oversized decorations. Tune in to David's Great Big Christmas for illuminated indoor and outdoor designs, inflatables, oversized tabletop décor and more. Make this your biggest and best holiday yet with David's Great Big Christmas."

@SHOPR  Maybe that huge Nutcracker standing by the door in the Scott Bros video of the Reindeer will be David's.  It's near the end of the video.

@lucymo, I had not watched the short video listed for the Scott Bros. Reindeer until you mentioned that.  I do see the huge nutcracker.  Also, earlier in the video, there is a shot of the red deer with a large sleigh behind it.  It looks to be multi-colored with lights all over it.  That could be one of David's items, too!

@SHOPR  Hide the credit cards, there's good things coming down the road, I think.  I am always tempted by the oversized items, like Sleighs, Bears, Reindeer...well, you get the idea.  I just don't need any more small items, in overload with that, exception being candles.  Can't wait to see what's coming though.

Re: Pay attention to QVC2 for holiday programming!

My apologies but I think I goofed about David's Great Big Christmas show on QVC2 actually being new or live at 3pm ET on 7/15.  While it does say new, a show with the same title is airing one hour earlier on QVC Live channel.  This is so confusing.  I saw the word NEW next to the show and assumed it was brand new.  Now I'm thinking it isn't.

So I have a question.  How does one know for sure which QVC2 shows will be new/original and not replays?  I know that once I start watching, it will say pre-recorded on the screen, but, is there some way to know for sure in advance?

I think it might be easier to see all of a certain show (like Valerie) or category of shows (like Christmas) if we could do the program guide search and then see all QVC and QVC2 shows combined into one results list in chronological order.

@lucymo  Where will you store oversized items?  I have trouble storing regular size, lol.

@mousiegirl  Now that's a really hard question to answer.  lol   I really don't know where I would store anymore large items but I usually get them and then worry about storing later. I may have to park the vehicles outside and take over the garage.  Smiley Happy
