@froggy  I love that and bet it's really  neat at night.  I'm loving the cactus garden.  Looks like the southwest.

What a clever display.  Your home looks so lovely!  I do appreciate the desert landscape -we've enjoyed a few trips "out west," as we easterners call it.

The trouble with prickly pear cactus is, once established, you can't get rid of it.  I've had the wind blow pieces of it into my yard and they rooted.

True. But the javelina help keep ours in check.

Another invasive species.  Thank goodness we don't have those.

I thought that there were javelina in NM. Perhaps not as widespread in populated areas as here? I frequently run into small families during my early morning or evening walks.
