Christmas is supposed to be joyous, not so for this house, waiting for the Grim Reaper.....

How we decorate says a lot about ourselves...similar to how we dress.  It represents the image we are projecting to others.  It's what others see when they meet us and what they think of us.

Black can be sophisticated, dramatic, stunning, but there is a dark side to black, depressing, death, evil, Satan, to name a few, so for what is supposed to be a happy, joyous holiday, black, to me, in this case is sinister.  It represents everything that is depressing, wrong.

I wonder what is going on with this person that they would want a black tree.

That poor tree looks like what be left after a house fire complete with that burnt smell.

My cousin has a black tree however she decorates it with her collection of Disney ornaments so it is not goth looking.  The black make her colorful Disney ornaments pop.

So would green.

I was expecting silver or crystal or something to make it pop.
