Awe, thanks for the compliments everyone! I appreciate all your kind words....

@Nightowlz I looked up your color because I'm always interested in learning about new colors, it's the middle one and it is so warm and lovely. I can just imagine the warmth it would give a room but I much prefer the 1st name (the original one) to the toast one, more romantic. haha

@crazycockermom  Isn't that a great candle? It was a little splurge I don't regret.

@DSD2 Thanks so much, I got that spider mantle scarf from Amazon for around $7.00....

Believe it or not on the walls it looks a little darker than the Churchill Hotel Ecru. It's not as dark as the Filoil Antique Lace. It also depends on the room & the light.

@Nightowlz Oh my goodness, yes, I totally believe it!

Paint looks so different once on your walls.

It can even look so much lighter as a whole wall verses a little sample patch on the same wall because the patch is surrounded by the white or whatever color is already on the wall and appears darker in comparison....it's crazy and can look like a totally different color depending on lighting,etc.

  I have spent a small fortune on sample pots trying to get the right shade. Thankfully, I usually use them up eventually on another project of some sort....

Before we gut the kitchen to install a new one we had already replaced the countertops about 12 yrs prior.

The counters looked orange after the install. I told the guy I didn't buy orange counterops? He said it was the lighting. We changed the lighting which did fix it.

Wow, now that's a great example of the power of lighting!

A lot cheaper to replace lighting. haha

It's amazing the difference it makes.
