New Fall Items Posted

[ Edited ]

Posted today from Valerie is a set of stacking pumpkins in orange or  white and a set of three potted mums, in yellow, orange or burgundy.  There was also a fall lantern by Plow and Hearth.   I believe she's having some fall shows the first week of August.

Finally!  Seems like they're late in getting to the autmn decor.  I'm on the Hobby Lobby schedule:  early-early-early!  Thanks for the 'heads up'.

Thanks for posting this!

I just took a look at the fall mums.  I wanted the poinsettia set she had, but I skipped it.  I might just get the fall ones though.  I just wish they were a bit fuller.  Not loving the wrapping either, but I will have to see it presented before making up my mind.  I use real mums outside, but I never thought about being able to have that look indoors.  Maybe...

What a cute Plow and Hearth fall lantern.  It reminds me somewhat of the little red arched style wooden lantern from Valerie's set, the one many of us wanted years ago.

I don't see any opening, though.

I prefer to access the inside easily, like through a door, rather than have to figure out another way in to clean, replace a candle, or adjust greenery.

@traveler - Just click the "New" link near the top of the screen on qvc.com and you'll see all the newly listed items for the day, including the items mentioned here.

I like the stacked pumpkins, but I'm not a fan of the unrealistic speckling on the orange version, and the price seems a bit crazy. The lantern is nice; however, you can tell even in the sample they picked for the online photos that the accent pieces are not of the highest quality. It's nice to see fall decor heading our way, though!

i think that far too many retailers pussh the seasons and holidays too early.  i know that they need to make a profit but still, fall can wait a bit same with christmas.

I dont think the fall season is pushed too early on QVC, in a couple days it will be August and if you order fall items it takes time for shipping.....and a lot of people put out fall decor the day after Labor Day which will be here before we know it.....

Now Hobby Lobby putting their fall stuff out in July--that is EARLY!!!

@loriqvc, I share your opinion of the speckles on orange pumpkins and also about that crazy high price.  I would like something similar to this, though, just not at QVC's price.

I also agree about the quality of the components of the P&H lantern.  I think it's a very cute concept, but I swear I can see bare styrofoam peeking through berries already, and the leaves in some of the images need turning to show their right-side-up, but it appears that there's no way to get to them to adjust anything because there's no door or latch on the roof.  Poor planning went into this item, in my opinion.

Thanks for this.  I've been waiting for some mums.  I ordered 2 sets in the yellow.  I figured I can put 2 or 3 in a bigger pot.
