Well I used to be 5' 2.75 and was shocked several years ago when I went to the doctor and was measured at 5'1".

I find it tiresome to be remeinded all of the time by some of my taller friends who have to point out how short I am.  I didn't choose to be short.

My brother, 6-4, always loved short women.  He told me when he was a child and I was a teen that he wanted to marry someone short like me and he did.  He married a 4-11 (although I am taller than that) lady.  I am 5-3 now but was 5-5 years ago.  At 6-4, a 5-3 is short.  That lawyer knew what he wanted and he went for it.

My daughter is 4'11" and her husband is 6'5".

I am 5'1" and always seemed to attract the very tall men, but I married an average size guy.

I used to get teased about being short.  I always say, when I stand up I am tall enough to reach the floor, the same as everyone else.
