Although my favorite way to enjoy jam is with toast, a good ol' PB&J is nice as well. I've still got a few little jars from my Bonne Maman advent calendar, so I'll celebrate a day late with tomorrow's lunch.

@Goodie2shoes I can't believe it!

My husband just happened to wear his "Peanut Butter and Jelly" t-shirt today.

He had bought it to help raise money for Drum and Bugle Corps. The kids eat alot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches during the summer when they are competing.

Makes sense. The contents wouldn't spoil like lunchmeat would in the summer.

He had no idea it was Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Would not have known if you hadn't mentioned it.

I always wish I liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. But, I hate peanut butter...always have, sorry.

I agree with the jiffy smooth but the other I have never heard of such a combo. My goodness. I am going to have to ask your dear husband if he eats them with you!!

When I was in high school a boy that sat near me said his favorite sandwich was peanut butter, mayo and lettuce. He talked about it so much I had to try it, it wasn't half bad.

No not a fan ---I like both, but separately on bread or toast--don't remember eating that as a kid either. My kids were never big on that combo either--DS liked pnutbutter and honey--
