So I changed things up ever so slightly this year. My mantel decor is the most whimsical of my holiday decor. This year I purchased some of the Jim Shore Grinch pieces. Not because there’s a new movie this year (I didn’t even know that when I bought them), but because the original Grinch movie is one of my childhood favorites and brings back great memories.

There are stockings for each of the six dogs. I bought two bronze deer by the Scott Brothers but they didn’t really fit in well. I will use them elsewhere, then when the Christmas decor comes down, I will put them on the hearth for winter.

Oh my, it is positively enchanting !  You have quite the hand in decorating ! Its like a scene from Good Housekeeping. But more than that it speaks of love and family and good feelings  Felinemom
