I ordered the Winter Lane micro lights from HSN back in July as luck would have it only 2 out of 3 work...but, the funniest thing is when I turn my tv off/on it turns the "microlights" OFF/ON.

I have to say they are nice & bright with a great length to them!!!

@homedecor1  I bought those too.  Mine work but the battery life is terrible!  I'm waiting until closer to Christmas to use them for that reason.  That is odd though about the TV remote!

My Duraflame logs light up and often heat up when I use the remote for a fan I have.

Ok! Now you have me thinking!

I have noticed that my Luminara remote will work on many of my Candle Impression Mirage candles (nice and easy!), so I'm wondering just how far does this kind of thing go...remotes that have 'hidden power' to control things we never knew?

I'm lining up all my various remotes and am going to see if the 'off' or 'mute' buttons will work on my husband and son when I've had enough of them, or the synchronized snoring starts!

Honestly, my husband has not even come in any area where there is decor containers....I'm so "overwhelmed" right now from my "Christmas hoarding" that truth be told I think he's scared -- in a whisper  last night at 6:30 he said "are you cooking?

I gave him the look that would have stopped a speeding train...with that he said "guess I'll go to McD" - he hates that place...must've been desperate!!!! Never heard a "peep" again!!!!!

Something similar happened to my sister with the Glimmer Lights she got from Pier 1---when she turned the lights on with their remote, it changed the channel on her TV....LOL!
