Re: My attempt at making velvet pumpkins

Wow, I'm speechless. Thank you all for your kind comments.  I also made some mini ones.  The hardest part was finding the material.  There were very few colors that I could find locally and though I looked online I didn't end up buying online.  Though I may in the future if I make more.

Very nice! How long did it take you to make each one?

@Daisy Sunflower

Thank you! I didn't do it all in one sitting but maybe 15 minutes for each one depending on the size.  Gathering the material is what takes the longest.

Wow those are wonderful.Where did you get the stems?I would rather buy yours than the pumpkins in the stores.

@dex

Thanks you so much.  Last year I knew I wanted to make some so I saved the stems from my real pumpkins.  In the course of the year they dried out so were perfect for this year.

You did a really nice job on them.  I love the colors you chose.  You're going to hate to put them away at the end of pumpkin season.

@Kachina624

Thank you @Kachina624.  I haven't even thought about storage yet!  I'm going to have to be careful of the stems.  lol
