I read a lot of reviews where people said they didn't like them & were returning them. I would think if any of the people that got a defective tree knew to call Customer Service &  tell them they received a defective tree & marked their return "defective".

I know a lot of people have had issues with their trees but wanted to review the other side. I have this in the green and it works great. I've ran it a lot on several different days to hopefully get the real deal out of it. No loud noises or missing colors. The different functions work fine and it's very stable when it sits. My kids love it! I'm pretty sure it's probably just going to stay out from now until Christmas.

I'm happy to hear that your Green tree works great. For anyone that buys the tree "As Is" & it's defective, call Customer Service & tell them the tree you received is defective and they won't charge the return shipping. You will get a full refund.
I hope everyone that ordered a tree "As Is" gets a perfect tree.
I read a lot of reviews saying people didn't like the tree or they received the wrong color and were returning the trees.

@SweetSydney - I, too, hope for perfect "as is" trees; a lot of people complained about the lights in the base and stated that as their return reason in their reviews, but this really seems to just be how the trees are made. I have no complaints at all about my trio of non-defective green trees, and I was disappointed when I returned the defective one that didn't show red lights and just got a refund since the green was no longer in stock for the "standard" inventory. Fingers crossed for "as is" success!

@SweetSydney, the silver one I sent back with the loud motor noise was marked defective; I even called CS to let them know why it was being returned because I didn't want to  pay the shipping back and wanted the other shipping I paid returned.  Hopefully, they aren't going to resell that one, but who knows.

I read a lot of complaints about the lights in the base of the trees, too. It is strange though because two members of the forum told me that last years Silver trees didn't have the lights in the base. As a matter-of-fact one member was kind enough to dig hers out & check them. So, more than likely we'll get those trees that were returned. I have my fingers crossed for perfect  "As Is" trees, too. Edited to add: My DH ordered 2 Silver "As Is" trees on 9/1 and they're due 9/12. I'll post as soon as he gets them & let everyone know the condition.

I don't think they'll sell the trees that were marked defective. If they do sell them they're going to end up with a lot of returns at their expense.
