Just One Day Devoted To Autumn, Please!

Autumn doesn't say sheets, My Pillow, Trolley Dolly to me! Maybe sheets in a stretch, but COME ON! If you can do days and days of Christmas; which, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about, PLEASE, just solid Autumn decor! Wow, now they are doing laptops!

Speak for yourself, @PA Mom-to-Mom.  When the air becomes crisp, the sky is a cloudless blue and the leaves change, the first thing that crosses my mind is Trolley Dolly.

Good point.  My autumn decor is out longer than my Christmas stuff.  QVC should devote a day to it.

You guys know your stuff. Getting ready to leave for work, turned to the Q and the first two items mentioned are in fact "Trolley Dolly" and "MyPillow".

MyPillow is on right now, think TD will be right behind it.

I just didn't want y'all to miss it Smiley Very Happy

Re: Just One Day Devoted To Autumn, Please!

I didn't mind the mixing in of other types of home goods throughout the day, it kind of breaks the monotony of another pumpkin, but I think Q misses the mark as well, with only one day set aside for fall/harvest decor.

There should be some mini events during August and September, incuding VPH, Plow and Hearth, Kitchen shows, truly fall type linens (not pastel cotton sheets) etc.

Many here have said for years that fall decor is a much better investment than Christmas because of the length of the season, yet most of what is offered in fall decor is not substantial or of the same quality we see with Christmas holiday items. There isn't the same effort put into designing for the fall, the same amount of variety presented.

Q has done a better job the last few years, bringing in Christmas and 'holiday' decor that transcends the season. Things easily used for more than one season or all year.

I don't see why they can't do that for fall. It doesn't have to be about the theme (pumpkins) but about color (shades of spice, pumpkin, russets, greens, reds and golds/yellows specific to fall) in home decor pieces (throws, throw pillows flameless candles, lanterns, wreaths, garlands etc.) and linens.

I think they are missing the mark here, not giving us more harvest things, better quality harvest things, and a greater variety.

Some of the things I didn't see or see enough of

Trays, flameless candles in fall shades, throws and toss pillows in fall shades or prints, wall art with fall designs or shades, enough variety of candle rings or wreaths in fall designs (never enough candle rings brought in for fall, usually one choice), bedding in fall shades, any dishes or serve ware in fall shades or patterns,...

I completetly agree with you.  Right now I am kind of in between. Living in the south warm weather stays around longer and I am getting tired of my beach themed look but not quite ready for fall. I am ready for some transitional things to freshen up things.
