Just A Simple Tabletop Christmas Tree This Year!

[ Edited ]

I usually love decorating the 7.5 Balsam Hill Christmas tree and theme it differently each year or so, but this year has gone way too fast for me and I haven't been able to get it done along with a foot injury.  So, this year will be a much simpler year with just the tabletop Christmas tree.  The two kitties are not even interested in it20241208_182030.jpg either.  Usually, the one kitty is climbing or trying to eat the bottom branches of the 7.5 decorated tree, so this is a win!  P.S.  I bought this little Bethehem Lights tree at the QVC outlet for under $10.  It can change colors to white, the mixed colors you see and also a sort of pastel.  It's also on a timer 4-6-or 8 hr timer.

@ciao_bella Very pretty & festive! Take care of yourself and enjoy!

My 2 kitties are too old (14 & 16)  to bother much with the Christmas tree anymore...but they do like to sit under it!

@ciao_bella   Know what you mean...we downsized to a 4ft. christmas tree last year.

It is setting on an end table. I made a place for it in a closet and even left the decorations on it, covered it, and just had to pull it out of the closet and set it on the table this Christmas season. DONE!

Your tree has such pretty lights on it. I always like to see the blue lights mixed in.

I only have room to decorate the fireplace mantle and I bought the small BL tree a couple years ago. It fits on a small round accent table in front of the fireplace. It changes lights too--from white to multi to pastels. Is really very nicely made--think the TSV price was $60. Have a cute fluffy white, tiny skirt with gold sequin stars on it the covers everything--very happy with it.

My neighbors bought me a 2 foot tree - artificial with lights in a pot.  They supplied the ornaments too - cats.

I wasn't in the spririt this year as my husband passed away suddenly but they insisted that I have a tree.

Small trees are just as festive as the very large trees.

Happy Holidays.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I'm sure it's a hard first Christmas without him.  Thinking of you.  How kind of your neighbors to think of you and give you a festive tree.  ❤️❤️

To those who are missing loved ones or who are struggling to do as much decorating this year because of injuries, illness or general malaise, best wishes for a better year ahead.
