JFK, Galway, 1963

If the day was clear enough,& if you went down to the bay & looked west,& your sight was good enough,you would see Boston. And if you did,you would see down working on the docks there ....some cousins of yours who have gone to Boston & made good.

@Group 5 minus 1  I don't remember hearing that quote before. Thank you! It reminds me of the song "Galway Bay." Ireland was so welcoming to us when we were there in the 1970's. They loved Americans and insisted we had to be Irish (we are Swiss/German). In every house we entered, the parlor was adorned with a picture of Jesus, the Pope and JFK. Happy St. Paddy's Day!
