@Kachina624 - I suspect any gifts that didn't fit in with the color scheme would be stashed out of sight in a closet somewhere!

I love purple and mauves, but this is way too much of an overload for me.  Nothing about it says Christmas.  They could've added in some silver to balance it out, at least a bit.

I'm not necessarily a traditionalist at Christmas,  as I do like to switch up my decor colors, especially on the tree, but this is not my cup of tea.  I like shades of purple, but this seems more spring/Easter to me.

I too prefer the traditional decor come the holidays. I love our decorations and look forward to seeing them each year.

I like purple, but not for Christmas and certainly couldn't handle a room like that.

The room is pretty, just not for a purple Christmas.  However, I believe in doing it hot pink -- if that's what one wants.

Nope, not for me.  It's pretty, but all that purple would get to me.  I'm still a red, green, white, silver, gold person for Christmas.
