I normally say I prefer the heat of summer to the cold of winter. I still do, but this heat and humidity combined can go, anytime now, lol.

I love this picture! It makes me long for Christmas & snow.
It's been too hot here in NW IN for me to even sit on my deck.  I have MS and heat & MS don't mix.

No, they don't mix at all!! My sister had MS and she detested summer and humidity so much! Her DH was a real jerk and wouldn't let her set the thermostat down low enough for her to be comfortable. As I said...a real jerk! When she passed away frorm cancer seven years ago she donated her body to MS research. I am so proud of her. Her family won't let me see the results. I hope they found at least one thing that will help your situation. I hope we soon have colder weather and I certainly hope you do!!. Hang in there. You have a friend in SC...

@Mominohio Winter, especially with snow, is my FAVORITE season! I truely believe snow is magical! But I usually also relish summer. Not this one! Hot and dry is one thing, but hot and humid with tons of rain will ruin vegetable plants. My green beans are the only veggie that is still producing well for me. The tomatoes are the worst since that blight that hit a few years ago. Truth be told, I'd like to rip out everything else.

Oh, I have an applique quilt pattern with that little red truck on it complete with a tree in the back.

I love that picture and I would bet it's a little red truck as well. 

Living in SC, we always have heat/humidity but this summer was especially bad. I long for snow when I go north to visit my daughter.

Kachina and Riley, I couldn't resist....I'm betting the truck isn't red because it seems anything in the picture that's red is printed in red!!!!  But I agree, it SHOULD be red!
