July and August are difficult months for all retailers,  not just QVC, but they have created what is likely a profitable niche for this time of year.

 

As noted by others, summer clothing season is over and summer clearance will begin.

 

It's still too early to aggressively push back to school and fall.

 

I understand what they are doing completely and endorse it whole heartedly!

I love it. It makes me feel warm and cozy seeing all the magic of Christmas.
