I received samples of Josie Maran's body butter in a purchase I made (her hair serum which I love).  Well, I was completely impressed with it.  I just ordered the Jasmine body butter.  Several months ago, I had a sample of her body butter and for some reason I felt it was sticky.  Perhaps I had something else on my arm because I did not experience the same thing today.  Can't wait to get the Jasmine.  I wanted Lavender but she did not have it and I wanted something different at bed time.

@Katcat1 I agree.  I got samples of (inexpensive) shampoo and conditioner (Hask Argon) a couple years ago, and have been using them ever since.  And, just a week ago I got a sample of Urban Decay's 24/7 concealer. I love it, and will purchase it!

If I buy online, I often go right to the manufacturer, I almost always get good samples.   For example, instead of buying a beauty product from the Ulta site, I'll go right to the product site.   I love getting samples, particularly perfume.   

A long long time ago, almost another life (LOL) I opened the mail at work.

I am not sure if I have ever been so impressed with a sample that I actually kept one.  Finally gave up on all the “gifts” at the cosmetic counters.

I ordered from Shea Terra...I got three...THREE!! nice size samples with my order....I was very impressed.  The samples are not the tiny barely one use samples........
