It was miserably hot until today... Cooler at the moment, though still humid, but now the endless rain and storms appear to have set in for the duration... Should they ever wrap up, who knows, it'll probably get hot again... Face it. there's no winning with the weather this year...

Wow, I'll be looking at that picture this week.  It's going to be above normal all week.  FYI, the normal for this time of year is 102.   Yes, I live in the Southwest.

Believe it or not it has been cool here in my part of the desert Southwest the past couple of weeks.  Our monsoon is still going strong and although it rarely rains at my house, it rains somewhere, which has kept it cool.  Its suppose to be drier next week and up to high 80°s and 90°.  The worst of summer is probably over for us.  Our hottest month is June.  I've only had my A.C. on briefly in the late afternoons.

It was a miserable August in NYC.  Heat advisories for many days, air advisories and/or high pollen counts quite a few days.  Temp/heat index hovered around 100 degrees some days.

I only went outside when I absolutely had to.  

Today was an OK day - went out to do a few errands.

Looking at the forecast - it appears the worst is over.

Thank you so much for that photo.  I live in Ohio too and I love the winter time.  Where we live we don't get a great amount of snow anymore.  Maybe if I'm lucky this year we will get a bunch.  I'm in the SW.

I was visiting my mother out east the last two weeks of August.  I thought I was going to die of heat.  LOL.  It was only 90's, but high humidity.
