I have my Christmas tree lights turned on this morning

It's a grey, cloudy day here, so to make the living room more cheerful I turned the Christmas tree lights on. I usually, unless its the Eve or Christmas Day, don't have them on during the day. I think I will be finished with decorating either today or tomorrow. How are all of you coming along with your decor?

I bought my wreath at Costco, I will start decorating Friday. Still have fall decor out.

We are going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving. I normally don't start Christmas decorating till after then, this year I started this past Sunday, with the aide of my granddaughter. She had time (busy girl, college, two jobs, etc), so we jumped at the chance to decorate together.

We are going to DBIL at the home to have turkey 🦃 with him!

You are lucky to be able to decorate with your DGD... she sounds like a very motivated and delightful young lady! How fun!

Just finished putting my "new, "as is" Valerie lighted items inside the hearth and I am so excited! We have a nice, warm glow in there now. Have been looking for ideas to take the place of a log fire 🔥 for years!

It is a cloudy D Y and somewhat gray day out today. It is supposed to rain later.

We'll do ours when we pick up our frech tree which comes from the top of a mountain near the Cradle Of Forestry Saturday.

We're still in Thanksgiving where I live. I can't see sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner with Christmas lights blazing. Our goal is always to decorate for Christmas Thanksgiving weekend but in reality, we often don't do it until the following weekend.
