We decorate after Thanksgiving and I will clean the decorations half way through the holidays but by the 1st of Jan I have plenty of dust to clean off all my decorations, I can't imagine the effort to clean this stuff every week for six months....  'nuff said.

No. I'm afraid some things are not relative. There is, in fact, an objective silly factor... Decorating for Christmas in June in the absence of any bona fide reason to do so crosses that line...
