@RazorSharp  Beautiful!  I see now that silver and white go together very well.  How did you get the lower garland to stay put, are there hooks on the mantle?   I wrestled with my white, then finally tied them to the red and white berry garlands of Valeries.  First had the white on the table and the berries on top, that didn't work, so put the berry garlands down and the white garlands on top and tried to mix the white leaves into the berries, not easy to do, but at least they stay put and look better than the other way around.

@mousiegirl Glad you like it!  Home Depot sells white shelving that is the same size of the mantel, so I just bought a piece of it for about $8 and put it on top of the mantel.  I screwed white hooks into it.

@mousiegirl: Noticed your question regarding attaching garland to mantle. I used command hanging strips. Afixed them on top of the mantle near the edge, with the "hook" going backwards if that makes sense. I actually left them on all year because they don't show.

@RazorSharp: Beautiful decorations. I love trees, too and use them as you have. I also decided on white and silver this year, but with some red. Anxious to decorate. Love your work.
