@qvcfreak. Everything looks so nice. I do as you did, a little touching a few rooms.....nothing overdone.

Thank you @panda1234. I just wanted a touch here and there, not too over the top.

In case anyone is interested, Valerie Parr-Hill is returning to the Q this week and has some Valentine's Day items as part of her new (mostly spring) offerings:

Me too. No judgement, shame or guilt here! lol.

I did take down anything really Christmas, like anything Santa, nativity etc. But I always keep up seasonal greenery and candles and segway into some subtle Valentine's Day, once February comes (I don't really decorate with pink/red usually but a few Vday accents fit in with my shabby chic colors for a bit, and I do love hearts.) Some years, like this one, I keep up a small, narrow artificial tree, and swap out with the many heart ornaments that I have. This tree is small and just an accent by my fireplace & I like keeping something lit up for the darkest, dreary winter months.  I just make sure to transition it from Christmas to more seasonal.  If I had a big, real tree that'd be different, but this stuff just doesn't look "wrong" to me yet.  So, no judgement from me on this...I say no rules; if it still makes you happy, keep it up as long as you like!

Just pulled this pillow out from closet that I got before the holidays. It is one of

those sequin pillows. Found it on clearance at Kohls.20190128_083030.jpg

February 1st I'll put my Valentine/heart wreaths on the outside doors and put out the Valentine placemats, kitchens towels and centerpiece in the kitchen.

When I was a little girl, my father almost always gave me a Valentine stuffed animal.  I still have a few of them I'll put on a rocking chair. They make me remember when I was Daddy's little girl.
