Re: Happy Cinco de May-Snow!

@loriqvc

The storms have moved on and now getting a nice light shower, which we need. Sitting under the covered patio drinking my tea, playing on my tablet and enjoying the rain. Nice relaxing Sunday evening. Woman Happy

Re: Happy Cinco de May-Snow!

We have been in the mid 90s but we are about 20° cooler today because of extremely high winds.

Re: Happy Cinco de May-Snow!

@Kachina624 - I was just checking the forecast again, and it looks like the cold snap isn't heading far enough south to hit New Mexico before it moves on in a few days.

But @SandySparkles got her wish—we had some considerable accumulation! On my way to my parents' place, the rooftops and lawns looked like it was February rather than May and I definitely needed my defroster and wipers. Fortunately, the roads were fine, just reeeaalllly wet. I arrived home a little while ago to less snow overall but still a noticeable white layer on all the grass and bushes even in the dark; we're supposed to get more cold precipitation of one type or another pretty consistently for the next couple of days, so it looks like the tomatoes are definitely staying inside until at least Mother's Day. I just might have to reactivate the furnace...
