I saw a pair of skull candlestick holders that I liked on Amazon, but they didn't come in black - only white. Darn

@Daisy Sunflower

Oh, I'll bet those were cool!!!

I've been known to paint things to suit my scheme. I've never painted an expensive item though, just cheaper things. Too chicken I guess LOL!

@ChiliPepper That is one fantastic jack o' lantern! Love it! Was that from back when there were stained glass shows on the Q? I remember that one, or one like it, and never forgot about it. I was too slow on the draw and it sold out. Have fun with it! pinky

@pinky ann

Yes, it is awesome!!! It's still available but the price has jumped right up.

Mine turns around & is plain orange tones on the back so I can use it in the Fall as a pumpkin & for Halloween the other way as a Jack-o-lantern

They look festive.  I shy away from tall pedestals.  Most of my decorate is short.  Haha

@GCR18

Oh, you are right - they are tall! I got so excited I didn't even pay attention to the height LOL!!

Oh well, I'll find a spot for them somewhere!

We had the fog machine going, bobbed for apples, had best costume contest I made the kitty litter cake, and everyone went home with a goodie bag!  I know my husband and I had fun!

I have this from years & years ago. One of my favorite purchases ever!

We have had this for a very long time. My mom bought it for my son when he was little, and we still use it. It's the only Halloween thing I own, as I don't care for Halloween decor.

I like this because you can turn it backward and use it the whole season!

@Mominohio  I saw it on amazon for over $100, so the price has really risen.

@Mominohio

I have that pumpkin too -- cannot remember when I bought it, but it seems many years back.

Very nice quality, too.  Seems it was $35 when I bought it.

My birthday is Halloween and I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff having gotten things from others as gifts.  My DH built me a large curio cabinet that looks like a haunted house and I display things there.

Trying to NOT buy anything now!

It's hard!

"Spooky" was my basset hound's name.  We got her in October. We had her for 12 years. ( LOL)
