Yes, the sleigh is beautiful.  Exchanged for quality issues.  Replacement also had them, but not as much as the first.  Kept the second against my better judgement.  I cut off the large glue drips hanging from the sides of the sleigh.  Couldn't repair the gold braiding that was glued on crooked, but it's only noticeable up close.  

 

I ordered the chocolate, but even with the plaid, it's not very Christmasy.  Think it would look much better with red sides.

I think I got very lucky with both the sleigh and horse. Seems like everytime I place an order I have pray that nothing will be wrong as far as quality. I watched the video of Valerie and another host, I think Carol?, and they placed the reins loop on the sleigh itself, like where the metal curves. But yes would have been nice for the children in the sleigh to hold the reins. All in all though it is definitely a statement piece.
