Re: Got sucked in again with dishes!

That table runner is beautiful! Don't get me started on table linens!

For the holidays I tend to like the embroidered cutwork runners and placemats. I have several end tables, coffee tables, sofa tables and such so I can indulge and use a lot of them. I have found excellent prices on these types of linens at Collections, etc.

@froggy - I always love the look of those cutout pieces, but my overall style is not very frilly or delicate, so they're just something I admire from afar. I also have to avoid pumpkins in my linens since there are so many pumpkins everywhere else--the eyes need a break! Smiley Wink

One can never have too many pumpkins! As I said this morning while buying another velvet Debi Lily pumpkin at Safeway.

@froggy - I keep saying that, too, but it would be easier if they weren't so big and fat and hard to store! I need to find some collapsible pumpkins... Smiley Very Happy

P.S. If you are interested in the runners you pictured and haven't purchased them yet, definitely check Amazon for price comparisons--I am nearly positive that I've received "suggestions" from that site that I should purchase the pumpkin linens in the middle based on my browsing history.

That's Why I buy the ones at Safeway. They are squishy - filled with something or other. I got rid of all mine thay were just something hard covered with velvet.

@froggy - I really love stoneware and glass and wooden pieces, so unfortunately, there's no collapsibility to be had . . . but it's some good wishful thinking!

I believe most of the cutwork runners on Amazon (not all) are actually sold by Collections. There are a couple of other brand names that are pretty also. I have gotten some actual cutwork tablecloths from Amazon.

FWIW, the set of four pumpkin cookie jars at Walmart has been reduced to just $21.88! Smiley Surprised

Re: Got sucked in again with dishes!

I keep telling my husband he should get a place close by, and I can store some of my things at his house, I can cook with my kitchen things and we can visit each other with food we cooked each other. Such fun that would be, and he could go home and it would be like it was before we got married. Really Woman LOLy not kidding.!!
