@LdyBugz   That looks beautiful.  Practice makes perfect, but I think you're there!!  Great job.

Re: Gift wrapping...sort of got it!

@Mz iMac , I love the curly ribbons, they take me back to my childhood before everyone got so fussy with ribbons. My girls used to love when I'd decorate their packages with those and, by the end of the day, they'd be wearing those curls in their hair. Thanks for those happy memories this morning, I could still see them in my mind's eye when you mentioned it.

@LdyBugz , you did a great job on them all! I'm going to start wrapping today and you've got me motivated to do better!

@LdyBugz   You package looks very nice.

I like to use nice ribbons and sprigs of greenery and beries on my packages or tie on an ornament....it just depends on the recipient.

The folds on your package are nice but don't think I could do that!

@ECBG ....the poster was going for a 'certain' look.

While your images are a nice guide - the end result is a 'traditional' wrap job.

I still use my traditional way of gift wrapping, using the comics from a newspaper.

Everyone loves it! It's so colorful and after unwrapping, they can read the comics!

@LdyBugz  Thank you for posting the pics of your beautiful wrapping! They look so elegant! Can't wait to get started, but I have to finish decorating the house first. Smiley Frustrated

@LdyBugz Thank you for posting the reality of that technique.  I saved it on my instagram so I could give it a try.  I love to wrap, but 45 minutes for one package is more time than I am willing to spend.

@Carolina925

Our sons loved those big droopy bows with the long curls.  We had a paper store here that sold big spools of that rippled ribbon.  I'd put 4 or 5 colors in my hand and tie big ribbons with lots of curls.

When the boys were teens, they brought their friends over to show them the wrappings.

Then, I learned to tie designer bows!
