All the holiday decor shows aren't my jam.  I'm not into all of the tsotchkes for the holidays anymore and haven't been for the last couple of years.  When Jill had the holiday decor shows, I would watch occassionally.

@Lipstickdiva  For someone who doesn’t like CIJ, you seem to have a very comprehensive log of the history of its programming. I wish my memory was as good as yours.

I'll be recording CIJune.  I want a pre-lit white (not flocked, but actually white) christmas tree (my green pre-lit tree finally bit the dust last year; the middle section doesn't light up) so will be keeping an eye out for that.

I bought no actual holiday stuff last year from Q (or anywhere else for that matter) and I'm not in the market for anything this year either (although regular lanterns and candles can make me hit 'submit'! LOL).

But I always love to watch CIJ, and will be doing so this year as well. 

I don't get the whining about CIJ or holiday inspired programming on Q in the least. 

How is it any different than the shows they beat to death all year long, that I can't stand

Shoe shopping (UGH)

The endless barrage of clothing 

Beauty products endlessly, even when they had a whole channel just for the beauty

Handbags who's prices would feed a small third world village for months.

But, I don't go to those forums and whine about how much I can't stand that programming. I just don't watch, and therefore don't shop during those times. 

The point is, QVC has many times over more programming that ISN'T  Christmas based, all through the year, and during the holidays as well. It just seems like many people can't accept sharing the air time with others who want to see a different category of programming.

@XmasDreams Thank you very much for posting these details.  Looks like a good line up.  

I've got my Christmas notebook primed and ready to go.  Can't wait to see all the different presentations.

Hope the anti Christmas-in-July group has a good time with their alternative activities.  I mean that, truly.  

As for me, I look forward to CIJ every year and always pick up some nice things, some for presents, and in home decor a mix of things I can use all year and others that are just for the holly jolly/winter festivities.
