Honestly, I felt like one. I was so excited to get something for the home that is year round and I just love it. You know how you just need something new to jazz your place up, even though you don't need anything or have room. Then something like this comes along that doesn't take up any room and adds so much to a room. Like I said, this is so much nicer in person.

I have a gas fireplace, and I put a fireplace screen in front of it. I hated the way the glass, black and brass surround looked, so I bought a standing fireplace screen that was tall and wide enough to hide it. I love how it looks now. It's beveled glass and wrought iron. I can see the flames through the glass, yet you can't tell if it is a gas or wood burning fireplace.

That's sounds really lovely. I can just imagine how nice it looks. We have no brass on our fireplace at all. The frame is black and the fireplace is stone, with a solid stationary glass panel that doesn't open.The screen fits perfectly over the glass area. It looks like I am looking at glass with a wrought iron scroll design in it with crystals. I am quite happy with it. I guess it's just a matter of taste and it depends on the fireplace. If I ever see something like you have, I would try that also. I love fireplace screens.

@Lucylu12. Oh ya know I was thinking for the wRmer months when the fireplace isn't used I thought maybe putting Luminara candles behind the screen if there is room and that could look very pretty. Would that work , seeing that you have yours what do you think ?

Darn it, I put away back in it's box, because I use a different one for this time of year. Plan on bringing this one out when we start using the fireplace. That's a great idea. You can position the screen where ever you want and it also bends in the middle if you need it to. I like it flat. I may have to take it back out of the box and try that tomorrow I have many Luminaras. I am just not quite sure how it will look. I will give it a try tomorrow and get back to you. I sure hope you like it when you get it. I just love it.

@CaliKat. That sounds lovely ! I guess I never much thought if changing the look of a gas fireplace , but now I can imagine how nice it can look. That's why I'm liking this new one by valerie
