Can I say I love the set of albums that was released by Grants department store every Christmas season?  Various artists, Bing, Steve and Edie, Mahailia Jackson ( my first introduction to gospel soul singing)  Jim Neighbors,The boston Pops.  Even pop groups. A bit everythig I like them to this day.

My mother had all the Christmas albums of Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby and many others .  While I like most Christmas music (except those sad ones) these remind me of my childhood when my mother had music on when not watching tv.

I'm a bit picky about my Christmas music.

For the most part, it has to be old.

I like recordings from the 1950's back. Bing, Frank, Nat, Perry, Judy, Dean, Burl, Rosemary, big bands, etc.

I like orchestra classical Christmas music too.

Even though I've been a big fan of other music (Motown, country, even some rap) I don't care for those recording artists doing Christmas songs, for the most part.

I like Kenny G's holiday album, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole, and the Judds.  I like holiday music and pretty much like it all.

Did anyone have the Cristy Minstrels album from the 60's? The album cover had a beautiful blonde woman with Christmas tree bulbs in her hair and as earrings? That was the best. I think my dad got it as a free gift from the bank when we lived in CT.
