I love all the ideas you all have about candy and cookies hiding away.  I don't have grandchildren yet, but I do have a grown son who still checks the cabinets for sweets when he comes to visit, often.

It is very similar to the Cheryl's cookie jar, which I bought. Mine sits fine, no problem. The problem is the cookies aren't lasting,LOL!

Well, I gave in and ordered 2.  Will pick them up tomorrow at a nearby Target.

But....they are going to be used in gift baskets and will be given away, so....I don't feel too bad.  It was a good price.

I have a lovely white pumpkin pillow and will check The Christmas Tree Shops for additional "white pumpkin" items.

I didn't feel TOO guilty since they are going out the door!

Aren't gift baskets a fun idea?

However, I give mine away for silent auctions at fund-raising events for several local rescues.

This way, I can enjoy the shopping, but give all those things away.
