@mousiegirl Hi! No, there's no scent in my velvet pumpkin, mousiegirl. I wouldn't want it scented as we both have issues with scents. I bought it a few weeks ago at TJX?Home Goods.

They're both one store where I shop, and really have an inviting way of displaying things and keeping things looking nice. The pumpkin was in with all the stuff in the checkout area rather than all of the others in their pumpkin display. Two sizes were available, where I was anyway, and were 5.99 and 6.99. Mine was the smaller so I could put it in the bowl I used.  Hope you find them if you decide to pick one (or two ) up. Thanks for posting! pinky

@pinky ann  Thank you.  Right now, I am airing out the scented pumpkins because I had scent issues also, and if the odor doesn't go away in a week, doubt it, I will return them.

@BabyYoda The fact that Big Lots called you to give you a heads up on a product is exactly what I meant in a previous post when I said they cared about their customers. I see in the store I shop, and it sounds like that's the way it is in many stores.

Panda mentioned the person in Big Lots telling her about the same manufacturer for several stores. I believe it, as it was that way many years ago when there was a garment industry here. I'm not sure I'll add any more decor for fall, but I'd like to check the farmstand later in the month to see if they have the unusual pumpkins they had last year. They were amazing! I would place them on the hearth rather than outside, so they would be safe from critters! lol pinky

@crazycockermom  Thank you! I've loved seeing the pictures you've posted here too. I hope you'll be posting your fall decor, as I noticed you got a lot of beautiful things from the Q both for fall and the holidays to come. pinky

All decorating product vendors including VPH purchase from wholesalers who offer their products to anyone who wants to buy them.  THese items are hardly exclusive to any reseller.
