When you are finished at your house, can you come do mine?  

Used to decorate to the hilt for Fall and then Halloween, but I just don't have my heart in it this year.

While I have a lot of decor items, not sure I'll put anything up.

Please post pictures of your place when you are finished.  I know you have some beautiful things!

I know I've mentioned to you I'm in Maryland.

If it gets any more humid, I'll have mushrooms growing inside.

So hot and humid this summer.  I'm looking forward to autumn...if it ever gets here!

@Witchy Woman   I feel somewhat as you do this year.....just not into it yet. But......it will come.

Start with just one thing.....that is what I am going to do. I also am trying to work up the energy to put up my Fall tree. I know, in my heart, that it will encourage me. 

To me, Fall, renews...........much like some people think about Spring.

Although it will probably still be in the 90's here in Texas I will put my Fall stuff up on Labor Day (we tend to create the 4 seasons on our own)

I guess I am the oddball person, as I hate to rush the seasons. I try to enjoy them to the very end! So, I'll start as soon as it is officially fall!

@mousiegirl   I can't wait to see your Fall tree. I love every thing you do. It will help to motivate me.

@SandySparkles My fall tree is not plain. The tree is a 6 or 7 foot prelit tree in an urn. I add orange lights. I do have fall round ornaments as well as glass leaf ornaments. I add Old World Christmas glass pumpkin ornaments, Indian corn and pumpkin pie slices. There will be acorns and pheasant feathers. I think I have a pheasant for the top. It has been years since I put it up so it is hard to remember what all I have. There is probably some birds. With my job I have no time, but this year I decided I am making the time. I love the way the house looks decorated so this year I’m doing it.

I usually don't put pumpkin decorations out until October, but I will take down my patriotic-themed decor after Labor Day. I like to have a few weeks without seasonal decorations in between! 

I'm happy to see that I'm not alone in my disdain for summer weather! I hate the heat, LOL!
