Going to the local cider mill. They make the best apple cider donuts I've ever tasted and they are only open from Labor Day to Thanksgiving.

@Azcowgirl We are doing the same thing....in fact, my husband was sitting at our kitchen island last night with maps spread all out for us to plan.
Looking forward to it.

We'll be RV-ing also. Going to Talladega in Oct. which will
probably still be warm weather, but then we'll be traveling
to see fall foliage.
And favorite thing about fall is pumpkin! I'll eat and drink
pumpkin anything. Love it.

@akdld wrote:Going to Starbucks and get my Pumpkin Spice Latte. Thats the ONLY Fall thing I have here. I live in Hawaii. Summer year round. Well, the end of October it gets a little cooler , but thats it. I do have to say I really miss Fall. Not Winter. But Fall. I wish I could just fly to the Mainland and spent September, October and maybe a little of November each year somewere on the Mainland.
And rigtht before Winter arrives , I would fly back to Hawaii.
Aloha. Autum Less from Hawaii.
I feel you. It's much the same in Central Texas. If it weren't for Pumpkin Spice Lattes in the cafe, I would have no idea when fall starts. I want to wear fall clothes and scarves and boots, but it's usually still in the 80s and 90s here. Nights are cooler, so I look forward to eating dinner on a patio when it's not 89 degrees.
My favorite fall event is the Texas Book Festival, but some years it's 90 degrees, some it's 85 but super humid, and some it's 68 degrees.

@Alison Wonderland Yep, here in Texas we can only hope
that we have a nice fall. I listen for the acorns. When they start
falling I get excited because I know fall isn't far off
