Easter at Martha Stewart's farm

The Martha Stewart Blog posted the following pictures of her Easter party from her Bedford, New York farm. There are several more pictures on her blog.

"And outside, brighter shades of green and white are used to decorate this table on my terrace. The "children's table" was set with these larger than life-sized 36-inch faux chocolate bunny figurines holding pretty daffodils from the garden."

Martha's grandaughter made this cake.

The table settings are stunning. I would love to sit at either one of those tables. The food looks good too.

The decorations in the first few pictures are too ornate for me. I like understated.

Anyone else notice the look the cat is giving the breakables next to it?

I'd love to have that bunny in the first photo.

Martha is a Polish girl...I noticed the bowl of Pisanki eggs on the table. Just beautiful and I wonder if she did the eggs.  My aunt did those every Easter.  We were always fascinated with the colors and designs as kids.

@Iwantcoffee

Thanks for posting...such beauty is a feast for the eyes and makes my heart sing.  Martha (and those that must help do these things) is the master of such visual materpieces.

I got her magazine for many years, but, when I stopped entertaining, I let it go.

Many years ago...before she was a household name...I watched a TV special about her Thanksgiving dinner at Turkey Hill (her former CT home).  It was held in a huge converted tobacco barn.  I was amazed by the beauty of EVERYTHING.  No detail was left to chance.

She knows how to create show stopping events, that's for sure.

Re: Easter at Martha Stewart's farm

She's sitting the children out in the sun?  Poor kids!  Melting bunnies.

The whole thing looks very 1980's to me.  Wonder what Snoop Dog thinks about it?  Woman FrustratedWoman Surprised

I was a huge Martha fan but I think she's lost her way now.  Considering the times, it just doesn't say today to me or seem relevant to today's world, almost inappropriate.

Martha seems to be mixing her messages and often caught in the past.

It's just my opinion.  It makes me sad.

Re: Easter at Martha Stewart's farm

I used to love Martha Stewart's magazine but stopped a few years ago, she's not the person I want to follow any longer. The only thing I really love in those photos is the cat.

Re: Easter at Martha Stewart's farm

I loved looking at this. So much intention to how all her things are placed and presented.

Love the cat!

My favorite is the 2nd picture I would love to have that.

The napkins look like birds in flight or bunny ears.

I think the large bunny is a little emposing, a little scary looking.

All in all so much fun to look at.

Thank you @Iwantcoffee.
