Absolutely had stockings.........no fireplace so a chair served the purpose........

right next to a glass of milk and cookies for Santa.

No chimney either so he came in through the kitchen door - left unlocked - of course.

We always had stockings growing up. They were hung by the fireplace with some fruit, nuts, and gifts that were small.

Growing up we had no stockings or fireplace. With my family I made sure we all had stockings, including the pets,  and, we did have a fireplace to hang them from. Everybody,

No, didn't grow up with the tradition, and did not start it for my girls.

No, I don't hang stockings. I get tired of all the secular focus of the season so don't include that aspect in my home.

Growing up I didn't have a stocking.  Family didn't do it.  But with my own family I do.  We  have a lovely fireplace so it's a must.

Not as a kid, did for my kids, still hang for fun because  have fireplace but don't fill.

Growing up my parents alway filled our stockings! Sometimes it was the best part of the gifting! My husband and I , now the stockings are the main attraction! Useful items we need, toothbrushes, comb, a gift card, candy lotto tickets! We don't go over the top. But it's a great way to celebrate, and the two fur babies, have a stocking too!

I do and while being in Texas no fireplace, I hang ‘em behind the chairs.

I just hung our stockings on the family room mantel yesterday.....my final decorating for the season.
