Decorating wth the TSV fairy lights

I bought a set in amber and a set in harvest.  I interspersed the amber in two artificial multi colored mums (Better Homes and Gardens, $9.99 from Walmart) and I like the look.  I'm picky about artificial flowers and these mums in a nice black/gold pot are very realistic looking.  Now I need to find a use for the harvest.

Purchased this wreath a couple of years ago. The orange lights that came with it never worked. My order of the tsv lights will be going on this, even though I am not home yet. They are at the post office (I hope).

@LTT1- I like the wildness and simplicity of your wreath.  The TSV lights should work perfect on it.  The wire makes it easy to position the lights.  They even include zip ties, which I assume can be used to secure the battery box to the wreath itself.

@DecorDiva

Thanks!

I looked up my order and I ordered the clear.

I am going to put them on the fall wreath anyway and order the autumn color lights if I really am happy with these!

Last year they sold out and may this year too. 🤔

Re: Decorating wth the TSV fairy lights

I got a set in clear, & so far they are great (I'll like them FOR SURE if the batteries last for the stated time of approx. 41 days).

Years ago, I purchased Valerie's set of (3) mercury glass globes in amber. Each globe takes 3 "C" batteries, & they used to last almost 3 months. But the last batteries I put in lasted less than 1 month.

Soooo, I bought these fairy lights to put in the globes. The bottom compartments on the globes came off really easy (I was thinking I'd have to cut them out, but no tools were needed). I have the globes on my raised hearth fireplace, & I put them on top of handmade pottery vases.  I scattered the lights inside the globes, layed the battery compartment inside the bottom of the vase, & bent the light sensor over the backside of the vases.

THEY LOOK SO AMAZING! The light is much brighter than it was with the other "C" battery pack. And the remote is ideal for this....on/off, timer, twinkle, steady....whatever I want- all I need to do is press a button.

I'm really pleased with how this worked out, & it was so simple!  Heart

What an ingenious idea!  I, too, took my turn with the globes and they didn't last all that long (had them outdoors).
