I've been watching Christmas in July, crying every minute.

'My dear beautiful twin sister passed away two weeks ago.

Deb loved Christmas and sat in her recliner where she could see the tree I decorated for her, she loved watching the twinkle lights. There's a mirror/photo of the Eiffel Tower which always reflected the lights from the tree.

'She would put ornaments on it and do the kitchen decorations.

We had purged 95% of our decorations, we didn't want either one of us to have to do it alone.

My tears can fill the Pacific Ocean. She was my world.

I ordered a 3ft tree to put in the space she loved.

My heart breaks for you.

I have been crying too.  I lost my Mama at the end of last year.  We watched the Q together.  She loved Valerie 's CIJ.  People think I should get over my loss.  Please take your time.  Know that you have a friend that understands.

I'm truly sorry you lost your mom.We lost mom in 2006, she also lived with us.

I don't think there's a designated time to get over a loss.

You are the very first person that I have sent a message to.  I read these boards all of the time, but was a bit nervous to post because some people can be snippy.  My Mama was my very best friend.  I will miss her forever.

The holidays always make me so melancholy. I am so sorry for your loss AlsaceGal & FLA Gal.

The end of this month make is 14 years that I lost my mom, though it seems like many times that many years since I heard her voice the pain feels so fresh it seems like yesterday. I miss her, and I miss my oldest and most loyal friend. . . the pain is still so fresh.

@Alsace Gal , I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the pain you are in at the loss of your sister. I love my sister dearly and don't know what I'd do without her. Take care of yourself.
