Thank you @ThinkingOutLoud .  I don't mean to shut down your idea, but I don't want LED lights.  I don't like the way they look.  I also ordered a pretty embroidered tree skirt that's the right size, so I don't want it in a container.  

I also found a lot of trees in a burlap sack.  The reviews said that the tree falls down as the sack doesn't hold it up.  I would have to find a container to put it in.  It's kind of late to be looking for a tree.  I did find a lot of them on Wayfair's site that were marked "out of stock."

I did look at the options at Lowe's and Home Depot.  I did a general Google search for 3' or 4' slim pre-lit trees.  I'll look at Lowe's again.

Your living room are is beautiful and comfortable.  In looking at your pictures I would suggest placing the tree on the samll table that is beside the chair.  Happy Holidays!

@Darlene G   Thank you.  The table beside the chair would be a good place for it.  I hesitate because that's where my cat, Henry, sits and looks out of the window.  He does have another room where he can look out the window on his cat tree, though.  He also spends time on my screened in porch.

The tree would stick out maybe 5" on each side of the table.  How would that look?

Got to say, last week I ordered a 6' very slim artificial tree and three prelighted 16" decorated wreaths from amazon. Both are on the way, I'll get one item tWed, the other next week. I never have problems with orders from the big A.

Joann's has a slim (24") 4' tree on a stand. $70, free delivery. It does have the led lights but you can just undo those (or not turn them on) and just put on your own.

Thank you everyone.  I really appreciate your input.  I ordered the one from Wayfair and think I will put it on the round table in front of the window.  I didn't want to do that because my cat likes to sit there.  I think that's where it would look best.

It will be about 5" wider than the table.  Will that look okay?  I did find pictures on Pinterest of trees on tables, and the trees were wider.  I tried to cancel the one from Pottery Barn, but they said it's processing for delivery.  I don't think I will like it since it's a Colorado Spruce and not a fir, so I think I'll be happier with the one from Wayfair.  I just won't open it and will return it to the store.
