Christmas eve dinner started over 40 years ago. It was just me and my mom so we made it easy but delicious. KFC, is what we got. The full dinner, chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw with cornbread. It became a tradition even after she died. I was 31, not married but met my husband 3 months after she passed. So he and I have continued the tradition for 23yrs!! It's still awesome, our local KFC is owned by Christians, so they always have blessings put on their sign. Makes me smile.

@deedledee.. you sound like your either Polish or Czech.. lol. Those are the exact foods I grew up on and I am 1/2 of each. Lol
