Calling Oznell 11/25/23

[ Edited ]

@Oznell

I hope you and your family enjoyed Thanksgiving.  I am more tired than tired.

I did the meal (with DH's help), and dragged to work for Black Friday.  I slept rather late today then did all of the holiday linens and dish towels, china back in the corner cabinet.  Pumpkins put up.

Have you decorated for Christmas yet?  I haven't had a minute!

What state are you in please?  The NE is going to get a big rain mass.

Oh, boy, @ECBG ,  you must be exhausted after your labors both at home and at work!  Hope you've had a chance to rest now.  I'm dragging a little bit now, and all I have to contemplate is pulling myself together to get to church!  Some days harder than others, ha.

You'll forgive me if I'm always a little bit cagey when it comes to my location--  on social media, have been advised ad nauseum to not give away too much about location.  Suffice it to say, our weather is changing, and I'm not that happy about it!   Winter is not my favorite-- love the other three seasons....

I've started to put out a few Christmas things-- I think I'm going to be fairly minimal this year.  Branches, berries, candles, pine cones, nativity scene, angels.  Don't know what all else yet.  We don't even do a tree, except for a small vintage light-up ceramic one.  But as for colors, they will be traditional --  red, gold, green, and a touch of white.

@ECBG ,  and @LTT1 ,  thank you for your lovely Thanksgiving wishes!   Ours was great, and hope both of yours were the same.  And we're still technically in the holiday weekend, so wring the last bit of fun out of it, you two!
