COMPARISON SHOPPING IS THE WAY TO GO

I think most of us comparison shop.  I recently bought an item at TJ Max for $24.99.  It is offered today at zulily for $44.99, stating that it sells for $96 elsewhere, that I can't believe because it is nowhere near worth $96.00.  So though zulily is marked down, it obviously isn't everything, or zulily is buying from the wrong companies paying more than necessary, at least on some items.

Yes, buyer beware.  I have seen a pair of Totes waterproof boots on line for $56.  I got lucky and at Marshall's the same boots were $25.  Fortunately, they had my size so I'm a happy camper.  It does pay to shop around and not be "desperate" for a particular item.  I'm currently waiting for a Baggallini crossbody that was cheaper on their website than anywhere else including Amazon.

Really hard to beat prices of TJX stores. My go-to for most everything.

Re: COMPARISON SHOPPING IS THE WAY TO GO

The best thing I've found is to not be too anxious to get anything. Seems the longer I wait, the more I see of something or similar things, and the more choices there really are out there. I get time to price shop, and I get time to 'tire' of it, which lets me know I really didn't need or want it in the first place! Saves money in more ways than one.

@Mominohio   You are so right about not being too anxious and when I stay calm I find out sometimes an item is a "want" and not a "need" and find something better if it is meant to belong to me.

A lot of the fun is in the pursuit of a good deal anyway.  But every once in a while I have jumped on something because I was certain it was a unique purchase that I won't be able to find at a particular price point or because it truly is a "one of a kind" item.

Your, mine, and a lot of peoples go to store......they recently released their 3rd quarter results which were excellent....Those that say B&M stores are a thing of the past need to talk to TJ' companies CEO
