I've ordered several items so far....Valerie's set of 3 Bottle Brush Trees in Pots w/ Ribbon in white, Valerie's Set of 2 Glistening Snow Trees & the Berkshire Blanket in Holiday Forest (I've never bought Berkshire before, hoping it's as soft as they say it is!) Now that I'm listing them, I just realized there is a theme here...all are trees! Lol. I also did an advance order for Valerie' s Illuminated Porcelain Figure in the Gold Angel to send my Grandma. I'm not waiting for Christmas, unfortunately my Grandpa passed away 3 weeks ago today, so I thought it would be a nice little surprise for her.

@michigangirl723   The throws are as soft as described, have many of them.

I shouldn't have posted so soon that I only bought a few items, lol, because in addition to the pillars, gingerbread tree, and bird nests, I eventually bought more, some for gifts.  Some of you know of my huge collection of deer, so when the eye and hook napkin rings/wreaths came up, I decided to try them in several colors, as I have deer in all colors.

I had no intention of buying the TSV as I have a similar in bronze with deer in a snowy forest which I bought at zulily, but at the end of the day bought two as gifts, thought the Santa would be great for a child's room, especially on Christmas Eve, and the red truck as another gift.

I bought a set of the branch lights in clear with silver wire, and the set of four tea lights, two as gifts, and two for me.  I am actually shocked that I bought so much.  I also bought the Holly candle rings as I have quite a Holly display, always reminds me of Christmas of my childhood.  At least most of what I bought is small for easy storage.

I hadn't realized that Valerie had another show in the evening, thought the afternoon show was it, so it was the last show in which I bought the most.

Re: CIJ thoughts and purchases

I enjoyed watching. I didn't buy anything for several reasons:

It was too hot and I don't have a/c.

I kept thinking about where I could put things during the season/and where I would store them.

Also when ordering on computer, the default setting is easy pay and I don't like it.

@mousiegirl What are the eye hook/ring napkin rings? I don’t recall seeing them.

@Sakuya   If you watched her last show on Sunday, they were around the necks of the deer she was presenting, and she made them for that purpose, but, of course, one could use them as napkin rings.

Re: CIJ thoughts and purchases

I do enjoy watching the CIJ shows. Gives me lots of ideas. I didn't purchase anything though. The quality of Valerie's items are hit or miss. Have received some nice items and more so in the last few years items that were lacking in quality/workmanship so I have stopped buying from her. But the shows are nice to watch. Christmas shows are just about the only ones I watch on qvc.

I was holding off on buying anything until I saw the new luminara candles from Martha Stewart. I bought the green rectangular molded candle.

@GinaV24 Out of the 3 offered, the green was my favorite as well, though I liked all three.

@mousiegirl Thank you. I actually still had that show taped and went back to find the presentation. The deer and rings were at the beginning so I must have been distracted when it was on live.

I love to decorate with baking theme items, so these are perfect for me

The mini cakes finally arrived today.

They don't scream Christmas to me in person, there's nothing Christmasy about them.  They feel more Spring to me and are much bulkier so they won't work for what I was thinking of using them for.  They are way too big to put on a tree (IMO).

These are going back.

@onliner     When ordering one your computer you can change to ez pay to a one time payment.  There should be an edit button near the EZ pay.  I change my orders to one payment.  I don’t know if you can change the default.
