Re: Bethllehem Lights going downhill

Just an FYI from a once loyal QVC customer - I have shopped on QVC since their birth to the tune of 10's of thousands of dollars.  I am finally finished.  I purchased a Bethlehem lights 5 foot skinny overlit tree.  The bottom half is overlit, the top half has about 7 lights on it.  Literally.  It is not that they are not lighting up, they are simply not present.  I personally consider this a defective tree and I do not feel that I should have to pay any return postage for said defective item.  It turns out that the "free returns until January" line that they told during the presentation of this item is a lie.  I love David Venable, but when it comes to sales, lying is a really bad policy.  I have watched the steady decline of QVC over the past few years and am tired of the poor quality of items received, the errors in returns, and the lack of customer concern on their part.  It is a shame, but everything in life runs its course.  I will not support QVC ever again.

Re: Bethllehem Lights going downhill

I have a lot of lighted branches from previous years all work with no problem. I bought 10 sets of this year. I tested them all and they work.

I make my tree topper out of these branches and my tree is nine feet tall. Hearing the battery life is not good is making me unhappy. Usually, I get the full season out of these branches. By New Year’s they will have noticeably dimmed. By then  I am ready to take my tree down.
