My fall arrangement.

Lovely decor!!!  I am a fan of displaying faux flowers and greenery throughout my dining, living rooms, front hall and bathroom when the holidays arrive. For fall I have the colors which define the season for me.  It all brightens up the rooms and is eye catching.  and bottom line makes me feel good!

Your Fall arrangement is very pretty and enhances the area  Love all the photos on the wall also!!!!

Thank you.  in college my major was Interior Design and I wrote curriculum in that area as a teacher.

Now, I am called the city's stylist.

Love it, fair @ECBG !   Your fall bouquet glows amid your pewter and burnished wood.  Love the colors and the shapes you've artfully put together.  It's always such a treat to see what you do!

I don't do that much with florals in fall, but this year I put out some burnt oranges ( I know, cover your ears!) in the form of yarrow, and some bright leaves mixed with green.

But, just on my desk, I wanted to do one drop of a different color direction, more pinks and blacks.  But wanted to keep it BUDGET!   So, at Walmart I found one black dahlia sprig, and a couple of black and burgundy maple leaf sprigs.  The maple actually had a few 'glitter' leaves mixed in, aagh, so cut them off.

Then I stuck them in my mauvey-pink Haeger vase, and now I have my 'black /burgundy' fall 'color story'.

"I don't do that much for fall".

Honey, that arrangement is my "one and done" except for clear glass pumpkins.  

DS thinks my lack of fall colors is funny, as in total lack of any understanding, yet his creativity came through as an architect.
